In 2026, we will celebrate the first edition of Gravel ‘n’ Gröstl in the beautiful Kaiserwinkl, Tyrol. Our base camp in Walchsee is the start and finish point for all nine gravel routes.
Routes between 20 and 100 kilometers (30 km, 40 km, 50 km …) will take you through impressive mountain scenery of the Kaiserwinkl. A total of 540 km and 11 000 meters of elevation gain await you. You decide for yourself which and how many routes you want to ride. Riding is only allowed during the day (night restriction from 22:00–5:00) – out of respect for nature, wildlife, and your safety.
Gravel ‘n’ Gröstl is not a race.
It’s about freedom on gravel, athletic challenge without time pressure, and a really good time in the best company.

We want to make our refund policy as flexible as possible and are grateful for the support we receive from suppliers, logistics, media, and all other partners involved. Thank you for your understanding that we have to cover the costs of organizing Gravel ‘n’ Gröstl.
If the event is canceled due to natural disasters, war, strikes, government intervention, serious accidents during the event, pandemics, lockdowns, or similar reasons, the event will be rescheduled. Participants can then choose between two options:
- Keep their starting place for the new event date.
- Receive a 70% refund of the entry fee (within a limited period).
Once the event has started, no refunds will be given if it has to be canceled, postponed, or rerouted.
In case of bad weather or hazardous conditions, the route may be partially rerouted. In this case, no refunds will be offered.
The refund policy will be strictly enforced.
